Cookidoo® is a Vorwerk Thermomix® appliances companion app that provides users with an extensive collection of cooking recipes from around the world. Despite an impressive download rate and a beautifully designed interface, the app struggled to maintain user engagement. The primary pain point revolved around the tedious process of creating shopping lists and purchasing ingredients, which detracted from the app’s core promise of simplifying meal preparation.

To address this challenge, I focused on designing and implementing a streamlined shopping list feature with direct integration to external vendors like Walmart, AmazonFresh, Vons, and Instacart, allowing users to order groceries with just one click. The redesign prioritized convenience, efficiency, and user satisfaction, transforming Cookidoo® into a more complete and engaging culinary experience.
