The Catrice Cosmetics redesign was focused on creating a more engaging, intuitive, and culturally relevant experience for a Gen Z audience. I refreshed the interface with a more playful and interactive visual direction, making makeup discovery feel less transactional and more fun, expressive, and inspiration-led. The navigation was also reworked to feel more dynamic and easier to use, helping users browse products more naturally and with less friction.
To make the experience more authentic and community-driven, I introduced features such as real-user advice and the option for customers to share their own photos wearing Catrice makeup. This added a stronger sense of trust, relatability, and social proof to the platform. The overall goal was to shift the brand experience from a standard beauty e-commerce journey into something that feels more alive, personal, and connected to the way younger users actually explore and choose makeup today.
